I attended the celebration on Saturday, 2 August 2025, and there was still one more happening on National Day itself - 9 August 2025. Location and Getting There
The event is held at Bayfront, right beside the shopping mall, about a 10-minute walk from Bayfront MRT.
Parking is extremely limited. Many nearby carparks were already full when I arrived, and with NDP road closures in the area, driving in can be quite a challenge. If possible, it is best to take public transport.
Arriving and Queuing
I reached around 5pm and joined the entry queue. It was very hot - the entire venue is completely open-air, so if it rains, there is no shelter.
The queue moved quite quickly, about 10 minutes to reach the bag check.
Goodie Bag Highlights
After bag check, you will receive a goodie bag containing:
- Drinks and snacks
- Singapore flag
- Hand fan
- Bucket hat
- Wet wipes
The bag itself is sturdy and reusable, making it useful for shopping or groceries later on.
Stage Performances, NDP Livestream and Post-Parade Party
The celebration kicks off with a live concert performance from the stage area. Many visitors settled in to enjoy the music, although it was still quite warm since the sun had not set yet.
One pleasant surprise was hearing Jay Chou songs being played alongside the familiar NDP favourites - a refreshing twist to the pre-parade entertainment.
From 6.00pm to 8.20pm, the focus shifts to the NDP Livestream and Highlights on the big screen. Once the parade concludes, it is time for the Post-Parade Party, from 8.20pm to 10.00pm, with upbeat music and a lively atmosphere.

There were several booths set up around the venue, including:
- First Aid - for any medical needs
- Drink Station - free cold drinks, but you must show your ticket before queuing and again when collecting
- Snacks Booth - free snacks with the same ticket rule
- EnergyOne Gym - offering gym membership promotions
- Safra Membership Booth - show your e-membership card to get a Polar Swiss Roll
- Photobooth - take a fun photo to remember the day
Tip: Keep your ticket safe. You will need it before queuing and again when collecting your drink or snack. With the goodie bag, hat, and other items in hand, it is easy to misplace.
Heat and Re-entry Policy
After some time, the heat became overwhelming, so I stepped into the nearby shopping mall for some air-conditioning.
Fortunately, re-entry is allowed as long as you keep both your ticket and the wristband provided at entry.
